The DC New 52 has gotten a bit of a bad rap.  I should know; I tried to give it to them (though not stated as well as Laura Hudson or Michele Lee).  Much of this centered on the mind-wipe Starfire was given in Red Hood and the Outlaws, and the dismembered body of Catwoman
